Jack Creek Preserve is located in Madison County, Montana between Ennis and Big Sky in the Madison Mountains. The property is comprised of 4500 acres that join two sections of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness and is protected by a Conservation Easement held by Montana Land Reliance.
The property is accessible along Jack Creek Road, a private, gated road owned and managed by Moonlight Basin. A road pass is required to access the road.
The Jack Creek Trail (6317) travels through the Preserve south to Forest Service and Wilderness. This trail has a Forest Service Easement on it, therefore it is open to the public year-round.
